The fourth session of the joint commission between the Republic of Congo and Cameroon was in conclave from July 12 to 15, 2021 in Ouesso, Congo.  

The Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul led the Cameroonian Delegation. During the talks, the Minister of Territorial Administration Descentralisation and Local Development  Guy Georges Mbacka alongside his colleague in charge of Security and Public Order, Raymond Zepherin Mboulou of Congo, praised the peaceful atmosphere that has always existed along the borders between the two countries and efforts to consolidate their cordial relationship. Minister Atanga Nji Paul thanked their host especially President Sassou-Nguesso and President Paul Biya for authorising the holding of the session. This meeting comes after that in Douala from February 19-22, 2020, which will help renew the 2020-2021 activities of the commission till 2022. Moreover, during this meeting experts redefined the missions and results obtained on the field for documentation. The commission is holding with the assistance of the GIZ and other partners.
